Girls Lunch Bunch

These are my classmates crocheting during lunch with Ms. Lane.  My mom came to class to help. We have lunch first and crochet in Ms. Lane's office during recess and lunchtime. Some of us made potholders and some made scarfs.  We had a party at the end of Girls Lunch Bunch. Ms. Lane gave us candy to celebrate. It was awesome and fantastic.

Potholders

I took photos of the steps it took to make a potholder.  I love weaving and using the potholder when it is done. This is a fun project to make on a rainy day.  I love how the potholder turns out in all different colors.   It's easy to make potholders when you get the hang of it.  All you have to do is follow a few simple steps. I took photos of some of the steps (up above).  I gave this potholder to my grandpa for his birthday.

Easter Sunday

Look what I got instead of chocolate!  A giant piggy bank.

We had an egg hunt with our new friends!  It was a beautiful day outside. My mom hid 87 eggs filled with treats in our backyard. We found all 87 eggs! We all wore our Easter outfits. After the hunt, we played outside all day.  We found some frogs and toads in the creek. We had fun eating all the candy, getting our fingers sticky.
